Morning Guys.

I have fitted my extended nozzle and jet dynamics rideplate and had the first try with them last night. The rideplate was an improvement over the stock one but does need sealing properly as still cavitating from take off. My ski just needs some sponsons now as they do let the thing down.

The extended nozzle was good but do you guys feel it makes for a much stifer steering? I was really having to battle with the bars to get the thing to turn. I also feel as thjough I have an 1" or so of travel before anything happens!!! My steering is stock, so is there a way of tightening everything up.

The extender nozzle does indeed stiffen-up the feel in the bars.

Do you have the Solas or the R&D Nozzle?

Afternoon mate.

I have no idea which one it is, I will have to post some pics.

I will work my way through that procedure to see if it make much difference I guess, just seems the gain from the extended nozzle may not be worth the extra grunt to turn the thing.

If its a solas it will be cast into the top the r&d may or may not be. I like the way the nozel works myself you get used to it pretty quick.

I kinda like the different "feel" in the bars with the pump nozzle.

Si, I am not sure that there is really a difference between the Solas or the R&D Nozzle.

Not sure if I gained anything with the nozzle - some claim it attributes to the eventual breaking of the steering cable.

I am gonna leave mine on - afterall, it sure looks cool (I think)

wow ed your ski looks flawless, i've read the extended nozzle description yet it seems like none of it is true. did you notice an increase in acceleration from it? i haven't heard of a top speed gain either

I did not do "one-at-a-time" testing with my stuff - and the pump extender nozzle was "tossed in with the mix" of other goodies at the same time - Therefore, I know nothing more than it stiffened-up the "feel" in the bars.

I think maybe Morris may have tested his nozzle - he has the Solas one - I think, or maybe it was Ken on his Level-2 Ultra?

Thanks for the comments on my ski. I guess when you take stuff apart - and modify, then clean up your parts, and paint - it makes a nice noticible difference. I sprayed some Catalyzed Urethene Clearcoat on the nozzle after I painted it. It was water tested once since I did that - and seems to be holding up nicely.

just looked at the ada website those exhaust rings are cool. wish they came in anodized covers. on that ski pictured what kind of drain plugs are on that ski?

Thay are called Versi Plugs, type into google as I think they are made in the good ol USA.

i found em. they look cool but i don't know it says on there website that if you leave your ski sitting in the water to put the original plugs back in. however i like the idea
