Is there any possibility of being able to manufacture home made triple pissers from supplies for a hardware store? I will probably buy the kit but was
wondering out of curiosity.
You can buy 3/8" hose anywhere (Probably gonna have 25 bucks into hose alone - for the length that you need).
Then you gotta locate your hull fittings - unless you have another "donor ski".
Then based on the research / experience that Steve used to develop this kit - analyzing that the stated 90* head fittings were a "problem" point in
the system - and these head fittings increased the probability of a clog - due to a sucked-up weed, cigarette butt, or something else - maybe just
"crud" build-up, then trying something off-the shelf caused overheating problems due to improper cooling/flow characteristics and eventually
developing a set of head fittings that are all based on the stock flow characteristics.
If you locate a fitting "locally" that will screw into your cylinder head - it's gonna have a different diameter and will cause the cylinder to
not be cooled properly - and you're gonna open-up another "can" of issues.
Plus his hull fittings are sweeeeeeeet. They are all anodized black and all match in design, and fit. Plus he includes instructions.
I am pretty certain that Steve's not gonna retire on sales of his Ultra-150 Tripple Pisser Kit - so just stick with what you got or "suck it up"
and write a check for a measly 75 beans.
Good Luck....
PS - Remember Steve floats the bill for us to be able to use this BB - which allows us all to "share" information in one forumn, so we should support
this alone - as just maybe someday - it may go away.

oh definitely... it seemed like a system that was developed out of home made stuff but perfected for guys like us. Steve cut me on a deal on some BH sponsons
so I am definitely going to support him through a triple pisser kit. Thanks for the history on the pissers... great investment to have.
Yea you cannot find the exact diameter fittings you need. Steve welds them and then re drills them to the correct size. Like Ed said, you can get the hose and
the hull fittings separately on the web, but by the time you ship the parts individually or spend gas money I bet you will be pretty close to $75 Plus if you
order a bigger toy the kit probably won't increase shipping costs from Skiworx.
Those prices do add up quicker than you think. I have bought enough of the fittings involved to know.
I think it would be cool the have the head fitting in a 45deg fitting. It should still have the benifits of the strait fitting but would give some space for
changing plugs. I have them on my setup now but they are unrestricted because of the dual cooling and tripples.
After filling out the contact form, e-mailing him, and leaving a message on his phone, I am about ready to give up on contacting SKIWORX.
I have a problem with chasing people down to give them money.
Too bad - I was hoping to get a cover from him too.
As far as the kit goes, I think I will keep the stock fittings in - If I move the pissers to where I can see them, then I'll know if it's clogged. And
since I installed the strainer, that should be minimized anyways.
Dont give up on trying to get a hold of steve, I took my ski down there to have some work done, and to tell you the truth he is very, very busy. Once you do
get a hold of him he is very helpful, and will give you great info on how the pisser kit works. I had the strainer on mine and I wasnt a big fan of it, as
btldigger said they do break, and mine blew up also. Steve is installing a triple pisser kit on mine.
i've been trying to get ahold of steve for about two weeks now. he's definitely a busy guy. all i want is to order the triple pisser kit haha. he
should get his shopping cart up and running. it would speed things up.

Well that might be the problem......I shouldn't have to take up YOUR valuable time just to order stuff.
I don't have any technical questions - or I would post them here.
I would be happy to order from whomever picked up the phone!
Actually, I would be MORE comfortable ordering from the website!
