Evening all.

I have just seen some carbs advertised here in the UK for a JH1200 A1 model brand spanking new for £230.00 with a free del. Thought my luck was in but unforunatley they were for a 1100 ski not a 1200. The shop reckons he has loads of carbs brand new that they are selling off very cheap s been sat on the shelf. Let me know what you need and I will ask if he has those carbs.

It was a sad World Finals this year as we lost a rider in a very serious accident. An Italian rider on an Ultra 250 crossed over into on coming skis and was hit head on by another 250.. He was pronounced dead at the course. His name was Cesare Vismara. We at Ultra 150.com and Skiworx Performance wish his family and friends the best..

GE Silicone-II - Not Drying

Over the weekend - I installed my "powder coated" Modified-Stock intake grate, and did some clean-up (wet-sanding) of the rideplate.

I used some GE Silicone-II "Gutter and Flashing" silicone to aid in the install of my modified stock Intake Grate + re-sealing of the rideplate...

The store I was at - did not have the "Kitchen and Bath" GE stuff which I used last time - so I bought this stuff here:

So all summer long I was getting this very light spray in my engine compartment. Not much more than a mist when I would stop and check my engine compartment, but I attributed it to the air mod I have on my seat. However, it seemed to accumulate to a fair amount of water down in the bilge in the end of the day. I was confused, but only slightly bothered by it cuz it wasnt a major issue.
Well when I was running my ski on the hose prior to winterization I stumbled onto where it was...

I am currently not a member of GH.net and I really don't have that much free time to be - but I have been "snooping" around over on the Kawasaki side over there - mainly looking at the 4-stroke Kawasaki posts - as I may be upgrading at some point in time - yet not yet - and one thing I wanted to ask:

Are the Administrators of GreenHulk "forward biased" towards Sea Doo stuff? The reason I ask is that at the top of "every page" - even the Kawasaki...

Looking for PDF manuals for 1100STX and for 12F. Also, does anyone know any links for the tech forums for these two JetSkis? I have really enjoyed the Ultra 150 forum, hoping to find the same thing for my other skis. I need to replace the starter geared clutch in the 1100STX. Got the starter rebuilt already, but I have to find out how to pull the flywheel, so that I can get the starter gear out. Anyhow, any direction would be very much appreciated. I just received a call from my local Kawasaki dealer and was told that Kawasaki is not manufacturing any 2010 models because of the excess 2009's. I may have to call BS on this.

I was going through my shop today and found a couple of parts of my old 03 Ultra that blew up. I sold it.
Here is what I found a WCOT modified OE rideplate and a modified OE intake.
What set up do you think would work best. I haven't done any testing. I will post a list of what I have to put on my 05 Ultra

Here is what I have decided to do with my 05 Ultra. I thought I might get some input from everyone and see what you think
The following list is what I am going to add on. What do you think I should see from it. Right now the ski is stock.
1-Shredmaster
2-R&D intake
3-Pump work from Ski Worx
4-Solas 16/20 installed by Steve
5-Complete top end rebuld replace # 3 cylinder
6-Replace oil lines with the Tygon.

I went by my local Kawasaki dealership looking for a Ultra top end kit. They said they can get one from WPS but it's all
aftermarket parts. I was just curious if anyone has done business with them before and what you thought.

Oil Debate

I would like some input on oils we are using in our Ultras and STXR.
Here is why I am looking for some input. I have always used Kawasaki oil in my skis, but with the economy being what
it is I got tired of paying $25 a gallon. I for about the last two months I have been using a cheaper TCW3 oil. Now I have two of
my four skis with blown pistons. Does anyone think there is a link between the two or just coincidence? I would like to know
what oils people are using and how...

Reoccurring Problem

Sorry if this is any kind of a re-post I didn't want to look through the achieves. I have a 2002 Ultra 150 and I love it, my favorite ski hands down. Currently the ski has less than 100 hrs on it, 90 some odd, and I am having to get the engine rebuilt for the second time, bought the ski with 19 hrs. Both times for the same reason, one of the oil lines came loose and the pistons, in the first case, and a piston, this time, fried. What can I do? I am wondering if I can premix my gas or...

Gel Coat

I had the bottom of my 03 STXR painted. After riding this weekend the paint started peeling. How long does it take for the gel coat to fully
cure for the ski to be put in the water. I am taking on water on the ski and i can only find one area where water is coming in. I posted those pics on the tech forum. Would the area of the ski that the gel coat has peeled off allow water to penetrate the hull? If so does anyone have an idea of how much water would be allowed in? I will post pics of...

When to rebuild an Ultra 150, while still running strong???

Hello to all the experts!
So I have a 1999 Ultra 150 with 180 hrs. All freshwater. About 100-105 psi on all three cylinders. I have some after-market stuff, but that doesn't matter.The ski runs great!!
My inquiry would be, when is the right time for a rebuild?? I mean , I have read about all the rebuilding being done for some type of failure, or a modified build, but have never read about a stock rebuilt just for preventative measures.
This ski has always been my best!...

It seems that every year prices keep escalating. Where is the ceiling. IMO they have broke through the ceiling years ago....

Aug 29th 2009 DJSA race stxr

Here is the race from last weekend. Since the nationals are next weekend no one showed in my class so I raced the next class down and everyone got a head start and then I went after everyone goes around the right hand sweeping turn. Did this all 3 motos but the last moto I was in front for a lap and a half.... Good practice in the back like that.
